Allargo SA was established in April 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it has been clear that tourists preferred individual (private) transport and excursions instead of mass tourism vacation
The inspiration, the expansion, the future targets
The years 2020- 2021 were heavily "clouded" by the coronavirus pandemic, which had enormous effects on the tourism industry. However, instead of seeing this crisis as a time of missed opportunities, ALLARGO team of travel experts followed the proverbial saying that "There's a silver lining to every cloud" and took a positive step forward. Being involved in the travel business for more than 30 years, we noticed that now, more than ever before, there was a growing need for private transportation, taxi transfers & private tours catering to small groups or families, in other words, a «travel bubble». We also noticed that this service was missing from Greece and that was the point when the idea to offer it to our visitors was born.
We established our headquarters in Heraklion, Crete and invested in a privately owned fleet of 9-seater minivans, operating initially on the island, covering the need of private transfers in Crete [offering Chania airport transfer, Heraklion airport transfer, transport services] as well as private excursions and tours. Apart from our direct clients, we also partnered with selected hotels and resorts, offering taxi and mini van airport transfers or car and chauffeured minivan rental for individual tours on land.
Of course, this was only the beginning. Our satisfied customers and the growing need for such services, urged us to expand the offer to more islands. Today, through an extensive network of carefully selected suppliers, taxi and mini van transfers and vehicle rentals are offered in some of the most popular Greek islands, including Rhodes, Corfu and Kos, as well as mainland Greece and Cyprus!
ALLARGO S.A. works directly with consumers [on a B2C basis] and with travel agents, tour operators and hotels [on a B2B basis], using the very latest technology on a well- developed online platform. Travellers only have to follow some simple and easy steps on our smart booking engine and securely book online TRANSFERS for airport arrivals/ departures and from 2022 private tours or CAR RENTAL, for independent tours in Greece, either for a few days or even weeks.

Our vision
ALLARGO S.A. has seen "the silver lining" and even beyond… Our first steps were made in Crete, with our private fleet and later, outside our island through well- selected and trustworthy partners. The first goal has been achieved but we aim even higher, planning to develop a large private fleet of deluxe minivans and 25-50 seater coaches, offering to more and more visitors, families, small or large groups the happiness of carefree travelling.
