Travel to Corfu with the quality cars of allargo

However, Kanoni and the Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) region is the most wonderful spot of Corfu Town. High up on a hill, there is a cannon, and from there, people can see the Mouse Island and the little church of Panagia Vlaherna, linked with the mainland with a narrow pathway.

Corfu is one of the classiest islands in Greece, thanks to its strong influence by the Venetians, the French and the British, which is depicted on stylish mansions and Mon Repos palacalaces, magnificent castles and fortresses. To make the best of your stay and conveniently see as much as possible in a small timescale, the best solution is to rent a car, get a map and drive on, to enjoy the unspoilt natural landscape, passing from sun kissed beaches and lovely villages.

The highlights near the beautifully reserved Corfu Town, a UNESCO world heritage site, include the picturesque and authentic village of Pelekas, Achillion Palace, an amazing villa designed by Italian architect Raffaele Caritto for princess Sissi, the former Empress of Austria and Mon Repos palace, on top of Analipsis hill, the birthplace of Prince Phillip, Queen Elizabeth’s II husband. On the way you will find some fantastic spots for panoramic views.

Driving along the north east coast of Corfu, don’t miss a stop at the two popular resorts Dassia and Ipsos, the pleasant town of Kassiopi and the old Venetian village of Perithia. Continuing to the northwest, between the villages Sidari and Peroulades, be prepared for a natural masterpiece, the Canal D’ Amour! The southern part is popular for the lovely fishing village Benitses, Korission Lake, Chalikounas Beach, the medieval Gardiki Castle and Prasoudi Beach. The west coast is dominated by a series of beautiful beaches [Agios Georgios, Afionas, Arillas], but Paleokastritsa, the oldest and most beautiful town in Corfu will definitely steal your heart.
